The latest poll reportedly conducted by the Tinubu Must Go (TMG) Movement has placed former Vice President Atiku Abubakar ahead of other contenders in its reported assessment ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
According to the reported results:
Atiku Abubakar: 80,000+ votes — 73.6%
Peter Obi: 22,500 votes — 22.3%
Others: 4,100 votes — 4.1%
The figures, if independently verified, indicate that Atiku secured the highest share of votes in the reported poll.
The development comes as the Tinubu Must Go Movement engages prominent opposition figures over the possibility of presenting a single opposition candidate for the 2027 presidential election.
Recent reports indicate that the movement has been advocating dialogue involving Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and other opposition figures as part of efforts toward possible opposition cooperation.
If the reported poll figures are considered during the movement’s consultations, Atiku could have significant support among participants in the poll. However, any formal endorsement would only be confirmed once the TMG Movement makes an official announcement.
