Fast rising rapper and singer, Olamilekan Agbeleshe, more known as Laycn has been installed as the Akeweje of Ipokia in Ogun State, Njenje Media News reports.
The Big Brother Naija 2020 winner was blessed with the traditional title by the Onipokia of Ipokia , Oba Yisa Adesola Olaniyan at the 2021 Opo Day celebration.
The King of Ipokia during the ceremony said Laycon, as a worthy son of Ipokia deserves the title.
Oba Olaniyan, while extolling the virtues of Laycon, said the singer is a positive inspiration to all Nigerian Youths and a good ambassador of the town. He prayed he continues to rise and shine.
In his reaction, Laycon, the ‘Fierce’ and ‘Hiphop’ croner thanked the monarch for the gesture, and appreciated the indigenes and youths of the town for standing by him and promised to be a good ambassador for the youths.
Njenje Media News recalls that Laycon had few months back been appointed by the Ogun State Governor, Mr Dapo Abiodun as the Ogun State Youth Ambassador.
