NIN Submission Compulsory For 2021 UTME/DE Registration — JAMB

NIN compulsory for 2021 UTME/DE registration- JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said it is compulsory for all persons registering for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) to supply their National Identity Number (NIN), Njenje Media News reports.

According to JAMB, registration for the examinations will start on Thursday, 8th April to Saturday, 15th May 2021 while the UTME would hold from Saturday, 5th to Saturday, 19th June 2021.

In a statement by the board’s, Head, Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr. Fabian Benjamin on Wednesday, there will be no extension of time for the sale of the UTME/DE application documents.

The statement stated that the Governing Board of JAMB took the decision after its meeting on the 22nd of March, 2021 and applicants will have to supply their National Identity Number (NIN) before they can register for the examinations.

JAMB said registration will take place in 700 Computer – Based Test Centres nationwide, with an optional mock exam to be held on Friday, 30th April 2021 for those who indicate interest and registered before the 24th of April, 2021.
