Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has felicitated former Anambra State Governor and presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, CON, on his 65th birthday, describing him as a symbol of diligence, integrity and commitment to public service.
In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Dr. Ezechi Chukwu, the organisation, on behalf of President-General Senator John Azuta Mbata, its Global Executive Committee and Ndigbo worldwide, praised Obi’s contributions to leadership, philanthropy and national development.
The group described Obi as a proud son of Alaigbo whose achievements reflect values associated with the Igbo people, including industry, resilience, innovation and accountability.
Ohanaeze prayed for continued good health, wisdom and fulfilment for Obi, while wishing him greater years of service to humanity and the nation.
