The Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) has dismissed the LP/Obi’s Petition on 25 per cent vote factor in the Federal Capital Territory to win the presidential election.

The court ruled that FCT residents have no special privileges as the petitioners claimed.

The court also struck out the criminal conviction case against President Tinubu.

The court ruled:

“The Nigeria Police had written to the US to confirm the criminal status of Bola Tinubu and the US government had replied in 2003 stating that Bola Tinubu had no criminal records in the US. Therefore, the court admits this evidence.”

“The case of $460, 000 petitioners relied on was from a civil forfeiture case , an action in rem against a bank and not against Tinubu. ”
