U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles overcome Wikki Tourists 2-0 in friendly

The Flying Eagles rallied back to hold Nasarawa United to a 1-1 draw in a thrilling friendly tie in Abuja on Friday.

Head coach, Ladan Bosso fielded a largely experimental side in the game.

The Flying Eagles dominated the game in the first half but were let down by their poor finishing.

Nasarawa United took the lead on 69 minutes with Ikenna offor converting from the spot.

Remo Stars midfielder, Adams Olamilekan equalised for the Flying Eagles eight minutes from time.

Bosso’s boys will take on Lobi Stars in another friendly at the FIFA Goal Project Football Pitch on Saturday.

The team will embark on a break after the game and will resume January 6 for the second phase of their camping exercise ahead of the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
