The Flying Eagles defeated Nigeria Professional Football League outfit, Wikki Tourists 2-0 in a friendly at the FIFA Goal Project Pitch, Abuja on Thursday night.

It was Ladan Bosso’s seventh consecutive win since they set up camp in Abuja two weeks ago for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The Flying Eagles have now scored 37 goals and conceded only once.

The friendly was watched by top Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) officials led by secretary general, Mohammed Sanusi.

Remo Stars midfielder, Adams Olamilekan gave the Eagles the lead from a well-taken free-kick from the edge of the box in the first half.

Substitute striker, Segun Otusanya capitalized on a goalkeeping blunder to score the Flying Eagles second goal of the game two minutes from time.

The Nigeria U-20 side will face another NPFL side, Nasarawa United by 4pm on Friday.

Bosso’s boys will also keep a date with Lobi Stars on Saturday morning to complete the first phase of their camping exercise.
