Child Trafficking Syndicate Who Sold Two Kids for N400k Nabbed In Abia State

A syndicate whose speciality is the abduction of little children of two to three years using candies, biscuits, sweets as baits has been discovered and crushed by the Abia State Police Command.

The Abia State Police Commissioner, Mrs. Janet Agbede on Friday December 11 paraded the members of the syndicate who are kidnappers at the command headquarters adding that the kidnappers were apprehended at different locations, Njenje News Media can confirm.

According to her, the police swooped on them and arrested them after they kidnapped little kids, Marvelous Monday, 3 and David Ikechuckwu children belonging to Mrs. Happiness Monday and Mrs. Rejoice Ikechukwu respectively.

Njenje Media News reports that the investigation by the police led to the clamp-down and arrest of Chinonso Slyvanus, 17 and Ekene Duru, 31 who had reportedly kidnapped the children and sold them for Twenty Thousand Naira each to Rose Okoro, 45 and Ngozi Ukpai, 38. It was later discovered that the buyers later sold the victims again to one Chidi Okoro for Four Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira.
