Nigerian Embassy In Germany Fires Security Guard Involved In Sex-For-Passport Scandal

Mr Martins Oni , a security guard in the Nigerian Embassy in Germany has been sacked by the Nigerian authorities in Germany.

Njenje Media News recalls that last month, a video went viral where Mr Oni was seen unclad in a hotel room exchanging words with someone who accused him of demanding sexual gratification from women who applied for passport renewal.

Upon the release of the video, the Embassy had suspended Mr Oni with Mr Yusuf Tuggar, a Nigerian Ambassador to Germany ordering an investigation immediately on the incident.

Njenje Media News reports that investigation has now been concluded and Oni has been found guilty.

The statement from the Nigerian Embassy reads ;

“The Investigation Committee interviewed Mr Oni and other witnesses as part of a thorough examination of these very serious charges.

It concluded that Mr Oni was culpable and in violation of all the relevant codes.

As a result, Mr. Martins Adedeji Oni’s contract with the Embassy as a Local Staff has been terminated.”
