The tranquility of Kano was shattered by a disturbing turn of events as Sadiq Jibrin, a former colleague at Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO), stands accused of orchestrating the gruesome murder of Bello Bukar Adamu, under the guise of a promised employment opportunity at the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).

Initial reports painted a picture of betrayal and violence, alleging that Bello Zubairu had borrowed a significant sum from Bello Bukar Adamu, only to resort to hiring assassins when unable to repay the debt. However, a recent revelation has cast a different light on the tragic incident, revealing a tale of deceit and fatal consequences.

According to a family member of the deceased, who reached out to provide clarity on the matter, it was Sadiq Jibrin who deceived Adamu with false promises of securing employment at FIRS. As weeks passed without any job offer materializing and mounting pressure from Adamu, tensions between the former colleagues reached a breaking point.

In a chilling turn of events, Jibrin allegedly lured Adamu to his residence under false pretenses, leading Adamu to believe that he would receive assistance in his job search. Unbeknownst to Adamu, he had walked into a trap, where Jibrin reportedly struck him with a pestle upon his arrival, fatally injuring him.

The vehicle parked beside Adamu’s lifeless body, belonging to the deceased, served as a grim reminder of the betrayal that had unfolded. Jibrin allegedly utilized Adamu’s car to dispose of his body along the Kano-Zaria road, further adding to the gravity of the crime.

As investigations into the incident continue, authorities are committed to uncovering the truth behind Bello Bukar Adamu’s untimely demise and ensuring that justice is served for the heinous act committed by Sadiq Jibrin. The community mourns the loss of a promising life, marred by deceit and betrayal, as it grapples with the aftermath of this tragic event.
