Abuja, Nigeria – January 1, 2025

The sprawling Glory Dome of Dunamis International Gospel Center in Abuja came alive on New Year’s Eve as thousands of worshippers gathered for the annual crossover service hosted by Dr. Paul Enenche and Dr. (Mrs.) Becky Enenche. Among the distinguished attendees were former President of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma, and other notable dignitaries, including Nigeria’s influential political figure, Peter Obi.

The service was marked by heartfelt prayers, uplifting worship, and a resounding message of hope as worshippers ushered in 2025 with faith and anticipation. In his reflections, Peter Obi emphasized the need for a transformative agenda for Nigeria, expressing optimism for a brighter future.

“As we step into this new year, I join millions of Nigerians in praying for a New Nigeria—a nation where insecurity, hunger, poverty, and the absence of empathy are replaced with peace, prosperity, compassion, and good governance,” Obi remarked.

Reaffirming his commitment to nation-building, Obi highlighted the urgent need to prioritize education, improve healthcare, and lift citizens out of poverty. “Together, we shall continue working tirelessly to transform Nigeria,” he added, urging all Nigerians to remain hopeful and actively contribute to the nation’s progress.

The event served as a unifying platform for worshippers and leaders alike, underscoring the critical role of faith in envisioning a better Nigeria. With 2025 declared as the potential beginning of a New Nigeria, Obi’s message resonated deeply with the congregation and Nigerians across the country.

May this year bring the peace, prosperity, and progress we all aspire for as a nation.
