Lebara Nigeria, an emerging telecommunications provider, has announced that it has secured full interconnectivity with all major Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) across Nigeria.
The development precedes the company’s official launch and is accompanied by the rollout of its dedicated 0724 number series. The company states these milestones signify its operational readiness to serve customers in Nigeria.
Mary O. Akin-Adesokan, Chief Operating Officer of Lebara Nigeria, commented on these achievements, stating that the availability of the 0724 series and the completed interconnectivity setup demonstrate Lebara’s “unwavering commitment to seamless integration, customer freedom, and market inclusivity.”
She emphasised the company’s focus on providing a smooth user experience and making its services accessible to a broad spectrum of the Nigerian population.
As a holder of a Tier 5 Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) license, Lebara Nigeria stated it is positioned to contribute to the Nigerian telecommunications sector. This license indicates that the company possesses the infrastructure and regulatory compliance necessary to deliver services across Nigeria. The MVNO model allows Lebara to utilise existing network infrastructure while concentrating on customer-focused services and distinctive offerings.
The company’s strategic objective extends beyond operational achievements, with a vision to improve user experience and expand digital access within the Nigerian telecommunication space.
Lebara intends to draw upon its global brand network, leveraging international experience and practices to introduce services and competitive pricing. The company stated its aim is to provide reliable and affordable mobile communication solutions to Nigerian consumers.
